One of the most popular items in my shop is the custom bullet-journal-inspired planners. These are 100% customizable and make bullet journaling so much easier for you! That being said, for each order created, I take pictures and video of the notebook to help inspire your own custom planner. Today, we will be walking through a turquoise bullet journal created for Alesha.

Alesha purchased a custom bullet-journal-inspired planner. I created her custom planner in an Essential’s Grid Notebook. Alesha requested turquoise for her secondary color. Watercolor Title Page: 

Alesha requested the watercolor cover page option with “alesha” in script lettering for the main header and “Hauser Cerney 2020” in print font as the secondary header.

Future Log

This future log includes 12 months. Each page features three months each with a row. Then, each row has a mini-calendar. Finally, the headers for each month are in a turquoise script lettering.

Monthly Overview

For each month, I used a simple grid calendar. The lettering for this layout is a purple brush lettering font. Additionally, there is a column to the right of the calendar. The column is labeled “goals.”

Weekly Grid Log

The weekly grid layout is a weekly layout that encompasses seven days. Further, each page includes eight squares that make up the grid. Seven of the boxes are for the days of the week, and the 8th box is blank. For the headers, the lettering utilizes a turquoise script font. Additionally, all of the other letterings are done using a black print font.

Blue & Grey Paint Splatter Custom Bullet Journal

The most popular items in my shop is the custom bullet-journal. Today, we will walk through a blue and gray paint splatter journal for Maranda.

One of the most popular items in my shop is the custom bullet-journal-inspired planners. These are 100% customizable and make bullet journaling so much easier for you! That being said, for each order created, I take pictures and video of the notebook to help inspire your own custom planner. Today, we will be walking through a blue and gray paint splatter bullet journal created for Maranda.

Maranda ordered a custom bullet-journal-inspired planner. Maranda requested the Leuchtturm1917 A5 Dotted Hardcover in Pacific Green. The primary colors used for her notebook are blue and gray. Further, the layouts involved include a title or cover page, future log, period tracker, pill tracker, mood pixels, savings jar, monthly cover pages, monthly calendar, sleep log, work tracker, migraine pain log, stress tracker, and weekly grid.

Paint Splatter Title Page

Maranda requested watercolor paint splatter cover pages. Her color of choice was blue. Each cover page is a different shade of blue, the main cover page for the whole notebook includes several shades of blue paint. On this page, I wrote “Maranda” in black calligraphy and “2020 planner” in a regular print font.

Future Log

This future log includes 12 months. Each page features three months each with an invisible row. Then, each row has a mini-calendar. Further, the headers for each month are in a dark gray print font. Finally, the main header is in blue calligraphy lettering.

Period and Pill Tracking

These trackers are modeled after my own period and pill trackers. They are styled very minimally with blue calligraphy headers. Further, these layouts do not have any linework. The vertical axis includes a date for each day of a month and the horizontal axis includes the initial of each month. Finally, there is a key for each tracker at the bottom of each page.

Year in Pixels Mood Tracker

This page is a grid involving a square for each day of the year. Down the right side is a key indicating how to fill in the square for each day. The key is unfinished so that Maranda could decide how to fill it in. Last, the header is in blue brush lettering and black print font.

Savings Jar Tracker

For this savings tracker, there is a jar on the right side. The jar has 12 sections. Further, each part of the jar is for one month of the year. Further, there are sections to write in a goal. The header is in blue brush lettering and black print font.

Monthly Cover Page

The monthly cover pages mimic the main header, except each month has its own shade of blue. Each paint splatter is unique and created differently. All lettering is done is a hand-drawn brush lettered font.

Simple Monthly Calendar

For each monthly layout, I used a simple grid calendar. Then, the header is a blue or gray brush-lettering. Additionally, the header is located vertically down the right side.

Sleep Log

Each month includes four habit trackers. The first is the sleep log. This spread features a graph-style design. The horizontal axis has time and the vertical axis has the day of the month. Further, the main header is a blue brush lettered font

Work Tracker

Next to the sleep log is the work tracker. Each page includes a brush lettered header, calendar broken into 2 by 2 grid squares, and a key including 6 options that were left blank.

Migraine Log

The migraine tracker essentially mimicks the sleep log in that it features the same structure and design. However, instead of tracking time each day, this log tracks pain level on a scale of 1 to 10 for each day.

Stress Tracker

The stress tracker is modeled after the work tracker. All aspects of the tracker are the same except the header specifics.

Amy ordered a custom bullet-journal-inspired planner. Her planner is the Emerald Leuchtturm1917 A5 Dotted Hardcover. The primary colors used for Amy’s notebook are blue and green. Further, the layouts involved include a title page, year at a glance, books to read, wishlist, prayer requests, period tracker, monthly calendar, monthly habit tracker, monthly mood trackers, and weekly grid. Initials Title Page: 

This is a minimal title page. In a calligraphy font I wrote “AMC,” then on the second line “2020 Planner” is written in an all-caps print font. Lastly, in a minimal script in the top left corner, I wrote “property of…”

One Page Year at a Glance

This year at a glance features 12 months, January 2020 through December 2020, in a calendar format.  Further, the months are horizontally indicated in blue and green cursive lettering. Then, “2020” is at the top of the page in a print font. Lastly, “at a glance” is in a minimal script font.

Books to Read Bookshelf 

This page is a black and white bookshelf. The header is in a blue brush lettering. Amy will fill in each book with a book she wants to read or has read.

Wishlist

This is a very simple layout. The header is in a green brush lettering. Then, there are four columns of checkboxes. Amy can list the items she wants and check them off when she has gotten them.

Prayer Requests

This layout is primarily blank. However, includes a blue brush lettered heading. No details were requested for this layout.

Period Pixels Tracker

This period tracker mimics the year in pixels style. Then, the header is vertical down the left side. The lettering is in a green brush lettering and blue print font. Finally, there is a grid square for each day of all 12 months.

Monthly Calendar: 

For each month, I used a simple grid calendar. The lettering for this layout is a print font. Additionally, there is a column to the right of the calendar. The column is labeled “goals.”

Habit Tracking

The habit tracker is a table or chart for each month with space for each day of that month. The header is either blue or green calligraphy font and black print font.

Monthly Themed Mood Tracking:

The mood trackers are different each month. The most apparent difference is the theme or picture chosen. The images are broken into enough parts so that there is a part for each day of the month. Then, each day, the image parts get filled in. Each mood is assigned to a specific color, design, or shade of a color. Next, Amy can color in each part according to her mood or moods for that day. In the list below are the theme or imagery for each month.  The headers vary but are generally blue or green brush lettering.

  • January – snowy mountains 
  • February – feathers
  • March – cacti
  • April – flowers
  • May – flower petals
  • June – daffodils
  • July – sunflowers
  • August – lemon wedge
  • September – sunshine
  • October – autumn leafs
  • November – flower bouquet
  • December – Christmas bulbs

Lastly, every other month, to match the monthly layout has a mosaic stamp blue background or blue floral washi tape across the bottom.

Movies to Watch Filmstrip

This tracker resembles old-school film strips. The header is in green brush lettering and black print font. Amanda can fill in each part of the film strips with a movie she wants to watch or has watched.

For each month, I used a simple grid calendar. The lettering for this layout is a blue or green print font. Additionally, there is a column to the right of the calendar which is broken into to sections. The columns are labeled “goals” and “music.”

Habit Tracking

The habit tracker is a table for each month with a square for each day of that month. The header is either blue or green calligraphy font and black print font. The top of the table or chart is left blank for Amanda to include her own habits and change these as she goes.

Spending Log

This spending log is a simple layout. The header is a blue or green brush lettered font. The remainder of the spread is a 3-column table. The columns include the date, expense, and amount.

Quotes

Each month features various positive quotes. These quotes are done in blue, green, or black ink using a variety of font choices. To see each of these quotes view the images or video. Additionally, below is a list of the quotes used.

  • Reach for the stars.
  • Breathe.
  • Keep it simple.
  • You are some kind of wonderful.

This reflection spread include 6 boxes with various topics to reflect on. The headers are in green or blue brush lettering. The topics to reflect on includes the following:

  • Accomplishments
  • Big events
  • Most proud of
  • Most challenging
  • How am I different
  • Personal struggles

Holiday Bulbs Christmas Gift Planner

This title of this page is a red minimal script cursive. Then, hanging from the header is red, green and gold watercolor Christmas bulbs. Further, in these bulbs, one would write gift ideas for Christmas time.
