Blue Green Yellow & Gray Custom Bullet Journal

Looking for some bullet journaling inspiration? Here is a run-down of Nick's custom bullet journal. Nick's theme was blue, yellow, green, and gray!

Nick ordered a custom bullet-journal-inspired planner. His planner is a Leuchtturm1917 A5 Dotted Hardcover in Navy Blue. The primary colors used for Nick’s notebook are blue, green, yellow, and gray. Further, the layouts involved include a title page, year at a glance, monthly calendar, and two different weekly layouts. Here you can read more about Nick’s planner.

Here you can learn more about the layouts for Nick’s custom planner.

Watercolor Title Page

Nick’s title layout is a circular copper title page. For the header, “NVJ” is in a bold print font. Then, on the second line, “2020 Planner” is in an all-caps print font.

One Page Year at a Glance

This year at a glance features 12 months, January 2020 through December 2020, in a calendar format.  Further, the months are horizontally indicated in blue, gray, yellow, and green script lettering. Then, “2020” is at the top of the page in a print font. Lastly, “at a glance” is in a minimal script font.

Simple Monthly Calendar

For each monthly layout, I used a simple grid calendar. Then, the header is a blue, gray, yellow or green brush lettering font. Additionally, the header is located vertically down the right side.

Weekly Grid Layout

The weekly grid layout is a weekly layout that encompasses seven days. Further, each page includes eight squares that make up the grid. Seven of the boxes are for the days of the week, and the 8th box is blank. For the headers, the lettering utilizes a blue, gray, yellow, or green print font. Additionally, all of the other letterings are done using a black print font.

Watercolor Weekly Log

I used watercolor paint to fill a space across the top of this weekly log. The main headers are in a bold print font. Then each day is written in script lettering with the date in bold print font above. Further, Saturday and Sunday are grouped together as “weekend.”
