Hannah ordered a custom bullet-journal-inspired planner. Hannah’s planner is an A5-sized Essentials Gridline Notebook. The primary color used for Hannah’s notebook is lavender purple. Further, the layouts involved include a title page, year at a glance, 2019 goals, movies to watch, books to read, weight loss, measurements & rewards, weekly weight chart, monthly calendar, monthly budget, monthly tracker, and weekly rows. Here you can read more about Hannah’s planner.
This is a teal watercolor title page. In a calligraphy font, I wrote “Hannah’s,” then on the second line “2019-2020 Planner” is written in an all-caps print font.
Year at a Glance:
This year at a glance features 12 months, February 2019 through January 2020, in a calendar format. The months are written horizontally in lavender purple cursive. The main header is 2019 – 2020 in print font and “at a glance” in minimal cursive.
I have never done this particular layout before. This one was a specific request. The headers are done in banners with some lavender detailing and print fonts. The categories fitness, finance, and fun are each accompanied with simple doodles.
Movies to Watch:
The header is in print font and includes a doodle of an old school movie projector projecting “movies to watch.” The spaces to write in movies and tv shows looks like tickets.
Books to Read:
This page is a simple black and white bookshelf covering two pages. The header is written in a bold font and minimal cursive in lavender-colored banners.
Weightloss & Measurements:
This layout is broken into two sections: weight loss on the left page and measurements on the right page. The weight loss tracker is like a board game which flows from the top toward the bottom. Hanna can fill in these squares as she loses weight. The right side is a list with space left blank to write in details. At the bottom, there is a chart for rewards. The headers are in lavender purple calligraphy cursive font.
This is a line-graph-style chart to mark down weight by week for a full year. The bottom axis shows the weeks by date separated by month. The header is a lavender purple calligraphy cursive, the months are also in lavender purple but in a print font.
I used a simple grid calendar and simple pink cursive heading vertically down the right side.
This is one of the more complex layouts I have created. The top of the page includes a banner stating “monthly budget” the month and a piggy bank doodle. The remainder of the page includes various tables to track checking and savings. The right page is another table to track expenses for the month.
This layout is both a habit and a mood tracker. The headers are in lavender purple. The habit tracker is a grid for each month with a square for each day of that month. The header for the days include both the date and day of the week. The mood tracker is a similar grid separated into two rows, AM and PM. The key has 7 moods: happy, excited, stressed, relaxed, productive, grateful, and ugh.
The weekly layouts include seven rows. Of these rows, four are on the left page, and three are on the right. The main header is an all-caps black ink print. The days of the week are bold lavender purple capital letters, and the dates are a small subscript.
