100+ Bullet Journal Theme Ideas by Month

It is always super challenging to come up with a theme. Sometimes you want something more general, but you usually want it to match the period it covers. I do a different theme each month with some common thread through the whole notebook. For me, this year my common thread is the lettering I use. Additionally, I like to stick to colors or patterns for my themes. However, I will occasionally pull in something more artistic like a galaxy theme. So, here is a list of over 100 bullet journal theme ideas organized by month. There are some repeats for when a theme matches multiple months. s.

01 | January

January is the first month of the year. Where I am from, it is usually the worst month for winter weather with snow and cold everywhere. I generally use a lighter or brighter blue as my theme for January. Further, below are some other great January theme ideas

February is the month of love. So, it seems that everything in February is related to love and valentine’s day. I am not a huge celebrator of the holiday. Because of this, my February theme focuses on something else. For example, this year my February theme was gold. Below are amazing February theme ideas both related and not related to love.

March’s holiday is St. Patty’s Day. Because of this, everything turns green for March. Green seems to be in everyone’s bullet journal. Instead, for my March layout, I decided to do something weird.
