March Bullet Journal Page Layouts

March Bullet Journal Page Layouts

I decided to splurge for March and got myself a new notebook for my bullet journal! I was so inspired by the research I did for my Simple Bullet Journal Page Ideas post that I had to re-do my current design. For this journal, I also decided to invest in some new pens, and I am in love with them! This article contains Amazon Affiliate links.

First Pages and Lists

For this journal, I decided to redo my key page and title it "legend". In order to revamp, I did a ton of research and found some additional icons that I thought would be valuable to me. On top of these new icons, I added some color coding and a new tab system. I loved my washi tape system but I love my new one even more.

Next, I added an index. Last time I made the mistake of writing too big and not leaving myself enough space. This time I allotted 3 pages, break the pages in half and am writing much smaller. Additionally, I am color-coding to easy understanding.

Next, I wanted to incorporate a self-care page because I really need to take better care of myself. I placed it next to my "books I read" page. The self-care page has a sunflower on it. For the petals of this sunflower, I decided to play with shading with my new pens. The outcome is beautiful, I'm super proud of it!

The next page I'm super excited for. It's a blog and social media scheduling key. A lot of research went into not only how to set up the key, but the title. I wish I saved the link to the title that inspired mine.

To the right of the blog schedule is my year at a glance. This is a super simple page that is meant to just overview 2017.

March Pages

March-specific pages, monthly and weekly layouts.

March Monthly

Here is where March starts! This page not only includes an overview of the month, but it also includes more features than my previous monthly pages. This month I've included a much, much smaller title. Having a smaller title allowed for an inspirational quote, color key, and a small overview of April. There is not a lot of plans on my calendar yet, but I'm hoping to add some!

March Weekly

My weekly layout could use some work. I'm working on perfecting them. They include events & appointments, due dates, to-do & miscellaneous, and blog columns. I originally was using the to-do column for ALL to-dos but it was way too full.

So, I decided to migrate blog to-dos over to the blog column. The blog column was originally used for blog due dates. I also found that the due dates column was primarily useless to me right now. Next month I will remove the due dates column.

Pages I Realized I Needed Afterwards

After making my new March set up, it occurred to me that I had completely forgotten any tracking system and a place for my weekly shopping list. For March, I added a page dedicated to be March's shopping list. For April, I will incorporate tracking and shopping into my weekly spread.
