Kati's bullet journal inspired planner is broken down in this article by notebook used, layouts completed, and tools used. Kati's notebook was created in a black A5 size notebook, the main color is olive green. Layouts involved include a title page, mash page, future log, shit my kids say, birthday log, cleaning schedule, California map, moon tracker, monthly calendar, and weekly grid.
Layouts Included
Title Page:
This is an olive green watercolor title page. For the header, "Kati" is written In a calligraphy font. Then,
Future Log:
This layout features 3 rows per page, each row featuring a month and mini calendar from that year. The headers for each month are in an olive green calligraphy cursive. Months covered are April 2019 through March 2020.
Shit My Kids Say:
This page is mostly blank with a bold olive green header.
Birthday Log:
This layout includes 12 half-columns, one for each month. The main header is in an olive green bold print font. I used short-hand minimal cursive lettering is each month.
Cleaning Schedule:
This layout is kind of like a list. A mix of minimal cursive and print fonts make up the main header. A double line border then separated the header from the rest of the layout. There are several sections including every day, every week, every month, and bi-annual, these sections are highlighted with olive green.
California Map:
This layout is a custom request. It features an outline of California with three cities marked: Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The state's flower is next to the map and the header is shadowed with a bold red font.
Moon Tracker:
Next, there is a doodle showing the moon phases on the left page of this layout. On the right page is a grid showing those phases using small moon icons April 2019 through March 2020.
Monthly Calendar:
There is a calendar grid on the left page of this layout. Olive green letters indicate the days of the week. The right side features a calligraphy cursive font header and two sections below. These sections are titled in a minimal cursive reading “to-do” and “goals.”
Weekly Grid:
Finally, the weekly grid is a simple 8-square grid. All lettering is done in a simple print font.
